Literacy........Smarty Pants

Hello blog readers,
In this blog we write about facts on Literacy. So today we write about on how to make a narrative story. If you have any question please comment below.

1. Pick a subject
I usually write something what I did in my life and change it.

Choose a character appropriate for the story draw and label the characters like below

Then plan your stories. Scribble any idea which comes into your head.

Then write a mini summary. Then you can just start writing an awesome narrative make sure you make it interesting and use you imagination.

This is what we use a narrative mountain

This year our school production is Hercules. We have seven students from our class performing. Here are some of them backstage.

Year 7 specialist

Hi, we are the Year 7 specialist bloggers! For this week, we are doing Art.
Last week we drew a piece of still life in our books and enlarged it into a A3 sheet of paper. This week we started a painting on the paper. Firstly, we painted it with bright bold colours first. Then on the paint we glued fabrics, wallpaper, paper and other things that we could think of.

Stay tuned for next week! From Olivia and Cindy :) :)

Literacy smarty pants blog week 1 term 3

Hello blog followers,
On this blog we talk about literacy and facts on literacy. Today we will be talking about speeches. We have been writing speeches, persuasive speeches. Some children are going to do their speech for the speech competitions.
speeches, mostly everyone hates. Well speeches are never going to escape from your life you have to do it in primary, intermediate College in uni. When it is your 21st birthday. Family function. It never escapes.

Here are some tips on how to present a awesome speech!

Stand still, chin up, shoulders back and smile. Do not move straight away just first stand still them move around and you can show gestures.

If you forget your words that is fine do not show it. Words are only 7% of your speech, sound is 30% of your speech so that is very important . Do not say ins angry tone. The look is 55% the most important bit. You must look at the audience or they will laugh at you and that is not good.

Do not lean on the lectern. Then the lectern will fall that is going to be embarrassing.
Do not print your whole speech on your palm cards. Don't write the whole speech just write the main ideas.

Those are some awesome tips on how to write and really good speech. If you have any questions or you want some facts on something about literacy please write your question and we will answer them as soon as possible. Thank you for the you don&#;t know my name! For the question we will write about at in our next blog. Please comment below and watch out for our next blog.
